Every building in a NewVistas community runs its own power, water, and waste systems on the roof, rather than depending on a town’s centralized grid and treatment plants. A fuel cell generates electricity; its exhaust heat drives cooling and feeds a reactor that turns sorted human waste into fuel gas; that same gas gets burned to make more power; the carbon from burning it is captured and piped back underground. Water recycles in a closed loop, and a small on-site data hall — this building’s share of a community-wide computing farm — draws its own slice of the same plant.
